Does BLOOM offer 360 degree/multi-rater feedback as part of the review process?

At this time we offer the following for multiple input to performance reviews:

  • Employee self review
  • Manager review
  • A secondary supervisor also has access to the manager's pending review form to add comments.
  • In addition, any higher level manager has access to all pending reviews for employees in reporting layers.

We have discussed having the ability to complete multiple review forms for one employee, including peer reviews.  However at this time, this function is not available.  We would be happy to consider that in the future.

Also, we find that organizations wish to rate different, higher-level criteria in 360 evaluations rather than specific job related criteria.  The direct manager is often the best to evaluate an employee's progress on the job specific criteria that BLOOM tracks.  For 360 evaluations, we often use the LPI (Leadership Practices Inventory) and Profiles International 360 assessments which are very useful in evaluating cultural dynamics, which is often more useful in 360 settings to better pinpoint how cultural issues can be the cause of potential performance issues at the individual level.  We find that this better helps managers and leaders work together to affect the change they are trying to achieve. I can share more about these assessments if you wish.
